I've been tasked with the marketing for our business for the last few years, but am mainly self-taught - make it up as I go along. Would really welcome some more knowledgeable advice on how to move things up a level to generate more interest and therefore (hopefully) more business.

I think that any marketing training or tips always helps even experienced marketeers and refreshes knowledge and current trends, being a sole trader franchisee myself you can sometimes fall behind in updated thinking and practices so I always welcome advise and guidance for this subject

Knowledge is power - there is so much information available books, internet,e courses etc. I would love to attend a course which lays out the need to know without all the ra ra and overwhelm and demonstrates how to practically implement what is taught. I would really appreciate an invite :-)

If there was a prize for 'lack of natural talent in any area' I'd get it for marketing - and that lack of talent starts with a lack of understanding of what marketing really is. 'Sales and Marketing' tend to get lumped together but logic says they're very different - and then there's PR - where does that fit into things. I find marketing a mystery as hard to fathom as quantum physics.

I believe people should play to their strengths, mine is not marketing ~ so if I can learn it, anyone would be able to.

Oh pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeze pick me!! Twenty-five years as a member of one of the Intelligence Agencies has NOT equipped me with the skills I need to market my lovely little coaching business, as you can imagine. I've tried reading books, I've tried reading blogs and I've tried paying for dowloads but I have the attention span of a gnat on cocaine for learning-by-reading: I need to learn by doing whilst being shown what to do by a real live expert and I need tun understand the underlying theory.
So pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeze pick me....you know you want to.....

There are so many marketing options that an amateur can't hope to get the right mix for their market without guidance from someone in the know. Especially when you have multiple market segments that you want to develop in.

Lisa offers sound insight in to a larger world called 'marketing'.

I'm a marketer, I run a company and wouldn't think twice about seeking advice from Lisa. She's knowledgable, experienced and has the capacity to give you solid marketing thought process that will save you previous time running round in circles. Lisa can also invent new ways of thinking about 'the problem' and offer pragmatic help on all those 'mind-block' issues.

If you need to employ a marketer and are fresh to marketing, Lisa is probably worth speaking to.
