We operate entirely online and aim to make training fun, effective and relevant to the user.

There are a series of Sharp End Training sites worldwide (a directory is below).

All content is made relevant to each country by your local head.

Courses are priced in local currency and only available to specific regions.

So who is behind all this ?

Established since 2004 Sharp End Training operates from a small office in Sheffield, UK. Using the power of the internet, we can virtually talk to anyone in the world in seconds.

Jonathan Senior is our Technical Director
Based in the UK, Jonathan began his management career in the public sector and has completed numerous interim management & consultancy assignments.

Jonathan has seen at first hand the ‘glorious inefficiencies’ of staff and business systems and the complete waste of literally thousands of pounds through “initiatives” and “strategies”.

After travelling around the UK teaching managers, on big salaries, how to deal with basic management issues, he retired from “on the road consultancy”

He realised that because of the mass take up of broadband and “always on” web connections, he could put his extensive knowledge and management skills online. The results of which are the Sharp End Training courses.

Jonathan has a knack of cutting through waffle to tell you straight.
At the end of an interim placement one of the team leaders asked him “Who can we trust now?” – Jonathan is someone you would want in your corner.

Jonathan is a member of the Chartered Management Institute and a Chartered Manager (the “gold standard” of managers in the UK).
His first book “Confessions of an interim manager” was published in 2009. When not at work Jonathan spends time with his family he also enjoys sport and became an ironman triathlete in 2009.

Jill Senior is our Director of Learning
Jill has a teaching degree and a creative streak. She is the best person to create varied, fun, but most of all effective, training.

The availability of hi-tech software & gadgets, allows her to make life as easy as possible for users.

Jill can turn a complex idea or concept into an easy to understand graphic or design, because she asks the many awkward questions that are needed to make sure that she understands something, just as most of YOU do too.
